What We Offer

Tips to get the most from our session:

1. After we've set a time and date, please have your horse dry and clean. Several modalities cannot be done on a wet horse so if it's raining, please keep them somewhere dry. Do not use any coat conditioners, fly spray or topical products prior to our visit (within reason).

2. Be calm and patient. True rest and healing happens in the parasympathetic nervous system state. A horse in fight-or-flight mode will not be able to fully relax. Horses sense our energy and feed off of us, which is why bringing a calming presence will allow our session to have greater impact.

3. Please do not 'train' your horse during our session. Pawing, biting, pacing, kicking, etc. may all be bad behaviors you want to correct, but they are also ways your horse is communicating. Many of these behaviors are actually signs of pain. I want your horse to fully be able to communicate with me in whatever way they need so we can get a true understanding of how they are feeling.

4. Ask questions! If you are not able to be at our session, I don't mind. But, if you are present, feel free to ask questions. No one knows your horse better than you, so if something seems off or isn't making sense, let me know! The horses well-being is most important!

5. Do your homework. In a full-body session, I will leave you with notes recapping my findings and recommendations on stretches or exercises you should do with your horse after I leave. You doing the 'homework' will allow greater success, faster recovery and more long-lasting results.
